I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Cyprus.
I provide therapy and assessment services for adults, children, adolescents, and their parents for a broad range of concerns and mental health issues. I speak Russian, English, and Greek fluently. I see clients in the office and offer online consultations through Skype.
I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment that fosters change and growth. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, psychotic disorders (i.e. schizophrenia), addiction, low self-esteem, panic attacks, challenging behavior, school and workplace difficulties, and trauma. I also help chronic disease patients to achieve better adaptation, learn how to manage and possibly reduce the frequency of exacerbations, and improve their overall well-being. It is an amazing feeling to see my clients grow and develop for the better.
I studied psychology in the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, where I have acquired diploma in psychology. I continued my psychology education in Neapolis University Cyprus (NUP), where I was awarded B.A. in Psychology with excellence. I earned my Masters degree in clinical psychology at the European University Cyprus (EUC).
Throughout my training, I specialized in evaluating and treating adults with mental illness including, but not limited to, major depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol dependency, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I have experience working in hospital, community mental health, schools, and private practice settings.
Having studied in different educational systems and being exposed to different cultures has given me an opportunity to enrich and expand my experience and knowledge of psychology. I have an eclectic style because I believe that each person is unique and requires individualized approach which takes into consideration his/her experience, cultural background, personal values, character, current situation and environment.
