LOLITA YAMBAEVA PAPACOSTA
Clinical Psychologist
I work with adults and adolescents in Russian, English, and Greek. I provide in-person sessions in Cyprus (Limassol) and also offer online psychotherapy.
I have experience working with individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, trauma, and low self-esteem. It's an indescribable feeling to witness a client's growth and development, and to notice improvements. I also help patients with chronic illnesses adapt, learn to cope with relapses, and improve their psychological state and overall well-being.

Education
I studied at the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, where I earned a diploma in psychology. I then continued my education in Cyprus at Neapolis University Cyprus (NUP), where I received a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and at European University Cyprus (EUP), where I completed my Master's degree in clinical psychology.
Studying in different educational systems and cultures has allowed me to enrich and diversify my knowledge in psychology and, by absorbing the influence of various psychotherapy schools, develop my own style of work. I adhere to an eclectic approach because I believe that each person is unique, and accordingly, when choosing a strategy to work on a particular issue that a client brings, I take into account their individual experience, character, situation, environment, personal values, and cultural identity.
